Nickname/Abbreviation:
Goldstream
Parent Project:
Alaska Hydrology Program
Status:
Active
Description:
The Goldstream Valley groundwater and permafrost project is an NSF funded project in the Arctic System Sciences program. We investigate the interaction between permafrost, groundwater, surface hydrology, and biogeochemical cycles to understand the release of methane gas from degrading permafrost.
